More than 27,000 women without duplication received contraceptive services at Affirm-supported Title X (Ten) clinics across Arizona in 2022.
The Title X program is the only federal program dedicated solely to supporting the delivery of family planning and related preventative health care services. Title X services also include contraceptive methods, STI testing and treatment, pregnancy testing and counseling, breast and cervical cancer screening, basic infertility services and health before conception, according to a press release.
As part of Title 209 men, syphilis tests on 6,103 women and 2,606 men and HIV tests on 7,058 men and 3,308 women. Data is based on sex assigned at birth.
“At Affirm, our goal is to make sexual and reproductive health care accessible to everyone,” said Bré Thomas, CEO of Affirm, in a press release. “We are particularly committed to ensuring that services and resources are accessible to youth, the underinsured and uninsured, low-wage earners, Indigenous communities, and other groups who have been systematically excluded from care. »

Nationally, the overall number of Title Service locations nationwide also increased by nearly 1,000 locations.
Each year, more than 30,000 people, mostly low-income, access evidence-based, accurate and confidential sexual and reproductive health services under Title X in Arizona.
