Friends of Hopelands and Rye Patch to host workshop titled “How to Make a Christmas Wreath from 11 a.m. to noon at the Guest Cottage near Rye Patch Stables. Cold Creek Nurseries greenhouse manager Michaela Berley will lead the class. The Rye Patch is located at 100 Berrie Road.
A Christmas tree lighting will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, December 1 at The Village at Woodside, 230 Village Green Blvd. The event will feature live music, photos with Santa and special treats from the Village Cafe.

Friends of the Aiken County Historical Museum to Host Holiday Tea from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Aiken County Historical Museum, 433 Newberry St. SW Katherine Slayton of Katherine by Design will be the guest speaker.
