Valentine’s Day The goal is often to show love to everyone around us: our friends, our family, our partners, and our children. Although it’s important, vacations are also the perfect excuse to treat yourself ourselves to a little love and self-care. And we’re not just talking masks and bath bombs (but those work too, and we’ve even included some of them in our self-care ideas below!).
So take some time to step away from work, cleaning, cooking and everything else. mental load on your to-do list. Nourish your body. Take care of your health, both mental and physical. Set big goals to achieve. Do something you Really I love doing it. Because you deserve it.

- Write down 10 things you love about yourself.
- Plan a night out with your best friends.
- Create a space or corner in your home just for you and fill it with your favorite things.
- Take yourself on a date and use this time to check in on how you really feel, away from the chaos.
- Put on your favorite outfit just because.
- Write quiet time in your calendar every week or every day, even 5 minutes. No exceptions.
- Meditate on what makes you happy in this season.
- Set limits for you this year.
- Read that book you keep putting off.
- Spend time connecting with someone you like, but don’t necessarily talk often.
- Take a workout class you’ve always wanted to do.
- Write down the goals you want to achieve this year, no matter how crazy they may seem. Let yourself dream.
- Put on your favorite playlist and have a dance party. Or a crying session. (Whatever works best for you at that time.)
- Sleep in. For example, really sleep in. Ask your partner to do something fun with the kids, away from you in bed.
- Buy something that will make your life easier (a new coffee machine that brews it automatically, a blender to make smoothies at home).
- Remove two items from your weekly calendar and don’t feel guilty.
- Take the time to be intentional fill your cup: Call someone you love, read your devotional without interruption, take time to enjoy that cup of coffee.
- Take a day to detox from social media. Give yourself a break.

- Delegate two things you hate doing (hire a professional cleaner once a month, send out laundry.)
- Wear a face mask. The scarier the better.
- Eat healthily and make sure you drink enough water for the day. Take the time to nourish your body.
- Treat yourself to your favorite chocolate and wine and truly savor their taste. (Tip: wait until after bedtime so you don’t have to share treats!)
- Do a social media cleanse. Unfollow those who don’t inspire you or who depress you.
- Take the time to forgive yourself for things from the past. Write yourself a letter to help you let go of something you’re holding on to.
- Read five articles that inspire you.
- Take a long, hot bath.
- Remind yourself “I am enough” whenever you start to doubt yourself.
- Take time to be with your partner: no phone, television or computer.

- Visit your favorite place in the city you love and enjoy it.
- Plan a “do-nothing” weekend to spend time alone or spend it with your partner, taking a break from the kids.
