Troubled frontman David Draiman debuted his new physique after six months of dieting and training.
Draiman surprised his fans by showing a photo of himself to share his new look after months of trying to lose weight. According to the singer, he has never reached his new weight since the mid-2000s.
David Draiman loses 34 pounds
Following his health problems, Draiman revealed in a new Twitter post that he now weighs 180 pounds after losing a total of 34 pounds since starting his diet and training in January.
“180 pounds. Down 34 pounds since I started all this in January,” he captioned the post. “I haven’t made this weight since the mid-2000s. In shape to kick everyone’s ass this summer.”
He attached a photo of himself shirtless as he showed off his more defined abs and fitter physique.
Due to his transformation, fans left comments asking about his diet and workout regime and whether he had made any massive changes to his daily lifestyle.

Although Draiman is yet to reveal his exact plans, more and more followers have taken inspiration from his health journey and also started adopting a healthy lifestyle.
It’s worth noting, however, that his recent health update came after he encountered several issues over the past few months. The singer underwent a procedure to remove a benign tumor from the radius of his right arm after performing a biopsy of the growth.
The singer also suffered from vocal problems which led Disturbed to cancel two concerts on the band’s European tour.
David Draiman’s Diet and Workout Plan
Although Draiman has not shared his current diet and workout plans, he had already helped everyone by talking about his eating habits.
In a 2011 interview with Heavy Metal Food Blog (via WGRD), he revealed that he follows a regular diet and doesn’t allow himself to eat hamburgers during his shows. He created his meal plan due to severe acid reflux, which also prevented him from drinking and smoking while on tour.
Additionally, Draiman said he chose not to eat four hours before a performance and two hours before bed.
“From a caloric point of view, it is not good to have food in the stomach overnight because it does not burn. I stay away from fatty and fried foods,” he said. -he continued. “I try to avoid things that are too fatty, that make acid reflux worse, or that make you gain weight.” So much for sex, drugs and rock’n’roll, eh?”
