“Mental Health for All” is the theme of this year’s walk with NAMI on April 29.
The walk is organized by the National Alliance on Mental Illness of San Diego and Imperial Counties.
The free community awareness and fundraising event is scheduled to take place at two locations simultaneously on April 29.
The event, called NAMIWalks, will take place from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Preble Field at NTC Park at Liberty Station, 2455 Cushing Road, in San Diego, and at the Imperial Valley Mall, 3451 S. Dogwood Ave., in El Centro.

The expo, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., is a joint effort of NAMIWalks with dozens of corporate partners and community health and wellness groups who will provide free resources to event attendees.
So far, more than 1,100 participants and 118 teams have registered for the event and raised more than $162,000. The goal is $190,000.
