Back pain is a problem that a huge number of people face at one time or another. In fact, according to the American Chiropractic Association, some 31 million people in the United States alone experience lower back pain at any given time. (1) Not surprisingly, a herniated disc is one of the leading causes of back pain, and it can be so debilitating that it makes everyday activities feel like moving mountains. (2) Fortunately, treating a herniated disc doesn’t have to be a chore.
