“I want to make a positive difference in people’s lives. I love seeing clients get better and healthier. I like working with people and helping them. This is my greatest reward.
Silvia Fedorcikova, founder and owner of 4 Elements Wellness Center, is passionate about her work. “I love holistic, natural therapy,” she explains, “and have been researching innovative treatments.”
Four elements – earth, air, fire and water – form the underlying concept of the wellness center/spa, and as she points out: “I wanted to expand our wellness center to the concept of these four elements. Our treatments help boost energy, appearance and mood. Each treatment we offer represents one of the elements, and it helps you feel good and look good.
Perfect representation
Fedorcikova likes to share a story about the name of the company, which was started with the help of his son Martin.
“We were at the table thinking about what names we thought were appropriate for our new wellness center, but none of them seemed right. My son, who was 12 at the time, was listening and five minutes later he asked me, “What treatments are you considering?” We explained the treatments and he simply said, “4 elements!” We loved the name and thought it represented our treatments perfectly.
Originally from Slovakia, Fedorcikova has lived in the United States for over 25 years. She and her husband Stan have owned Galaxy Tile of Princeton for several years, and before that, Silvia worked at Massage Therapy in Hillsborough, eventually becoming a manager.
Realizing the importance of staying balanced, healthy and energized, she immersed herself in the study and practice of alternative medicine and holistic treatments. During visits to Europe, she
She experimented with a number of specialized therapies, not widely available in the United States, and decided to bring some of these treatments based on ancient remedies to an American audience.
His goal became to create a wellness center with a relaxing atmosphere, offering the latest innovative therapies for the mind and body.
“We have taken the heart of ancient treatments and combined it with the latest innovative technologies,” she reports. “4 Elements practices and techniques have been used for hundreds of years in Europe and have seen significant success. Services like those of 4 Elements are offered in medical offices, spas and wellness centers around the world.
Endless benefits
“The benefits of our treatments are endless,” she continues. “Reducing inflammation, detoxification, boosting immunity, increasing metabolism, muscle recovery, reducing pain, increasing collagen for younger-looking skin, weight loss, and more. Our latest addition, the Welnamis Table, is absolutely the best for helping people deal with anxiety, depression, PTSD or stress.
Over the five years 4 Elements has been in operation at the Princeton Mall, many customers have become regulars, receiving treatments at least once a week, if not more often, Fedorcikova adds. They are of all ages, men, women and teenagers, and come from all over the Princeton area and beyond.
“Our customers come for very specific reasons,” she explains. “Some come for prevention, others for treatment or to improve their appearance. Each treatment is personalized according to their needs. You can come in for a quick three-minute full-body cryotherapy or stay for five hours and benefit from multiple treatments.
One of the most popular treatments is cryotherapy, which involves using extremely cold temperatures to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, improve mobility, and speed healing from an injury.
She explains that the process naturally stimulates blood circulation as the body’s hormonal, immune and nervous systems are activated. Whole body or localized cryotherapy treatments (neck, shoulders, hands, etc.) are offered.
Additionally, facial cryotherapy uses pressurized liquid nitrogen vapors that are applied to the face and neck to stimulate collagen production and reduce pore size. Cryogenic facials are even used to fade blemishes and scars, speed healing, and improve skin conditions such as rosacea and dermatitis. The skin may become firmer and more even.
Another treatment is salt therapy. Although it may sound like spending time in the salty air at the beach, it offers many revitalizing benefits, including relief from many respiratory and skin conditions.
SALT THERAPY: The Himalayan salt room at the 4 Elements Wellness Center at the Princeton Mall offers revitalizing benefits, including relief from many respiratory and skin conditions. Known as halotherapy/Himalayan salt therapy or dry salt therapy, it offers a relaxing experience with its heated floor covered in salt crystals (a wonderful foot massage) and the option to sit on a meditation cushion, in a canvas chair or a hammock. hanging chair.
“Must have”
A “must-have” therapy at 4 Elements is the Clear Light infrared sauna, says Fedorcikova. “Its radiant heat penetrates deep into joints, muscles and tissues, accelerating the flow of oxygen and increasing circulation.”
Celluma is a Low Light Level Therapy (LLT) device, designed to manage various pains and skin conditions. As Fedorcikova points out: “Approved by the FDA for pain management and skin care, her research has shown that LLT can increase circulation, speed tissue repair, kill acne bacteria, decrease inflammation and improve skin tone, texture and clarity. as well as relieve muscle and joint pain, stiffness and arthritis.
Other 4 Elements treatments include Star Lymphatic Pressotherapy, Fit Body Wrap, InShape Body Contouring, and Cryo T-Shock Fat and Cellulite Reduction, among other services.
The attractive and spacious wellness center includes several rooms, each designated for a different service, and focused on enhancing the comfort and well-being of guests.
Varied retail products are also popular with customers and include organic soaps, bath salts and hydrogen-infused water, among others. Hydrogen-infused water is thought to provide anti-inflammatory and antioxidant help, relieve fatigue, increase energy, and provide other benefits.
Six-month membership programs are available, which offer special pricing packages, including one free session of the client’s choice each month.
“We have rates for members and non-members, and they range from $10 to $400, depending on the service,” notes Fedorcikova. “We also offer gift cards. »
These are a great introduction to 4 Elements, especially for someone new to this particular wellness/spa concept, she adds.
Complete team
Like so many businesses, 4 Elements closed its doors for a time during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, which was a difficult challenge for both Fedorcikova and her customers.
As she says: “The COVID shutdown wasn’t easy, and reopening was even harder. We were afraid of people who weren’t sure they would come back, and on top of that, a lack of employees. It took us a long time to come back, but now I’m happy to say we’re back with a full complement and our customers are with us.
“I want to add that we are unique in what we offer here. We are not a franchise, but a small family business. We are constantly looking to grow and expand, improving our existing services and adding new ones by bringing the latest modalities and technologies to help clients improve their health, body and mind. I want to educate people about the importance of self-care, disease prevention, and self-healing.
The lotus flower represents rebirth and renewal,” she continues. “We use it as our brand logo to reflect the impact that each of our services offers you; that is to say, the opportunity to renew oneself and immerse oneself in a unique experience of its kind. Each petal expresses one of the four elements represented by our services.
