Mental wellbeing and a controversial comment from broadcaster Paul Lewis recently featured prominently on the industry forum.
Cherry has attracted over 35,000 unique visitors in 2023, with several recent threads focusing on mental health and wellbeing. A thread, which simply said “How is everyone?” » generated a large number of responses and positive engagement.
People were able to share their thoughts and opinions on a range of topics including bereavement, concerns surrounding impending retirement, as well as various personal professional concerns.
Another popular topic was about famous financial broadcaster and journalist Paul Lewis, who sparked heated debate after this comment on national radio.

His words sparked a huge backlash from a furious advice community and it was quickly pointed out that Mr Lewis was not at all well placed to give professional advice given that he did not hold a CeMAP accreditations.
