Ingredients1 11 oz. fresh goat cheese log, at room temperature 4 oz. smoked cheddar cheese, shredded (1 cup packaged) 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup drained jarred chili peppers, roughly chopped 2 green onions, thinly sliced (white and light green parts only) 1 T sweet pickle relish 1 vs. onion powder A few dashes of hot sauce, to taste Salt and freshly ground black pepper Crudite, to serve
InstructionsIn a medium bowl, using a wooden spoon, combine the goat cheese with the cheddar, mayonnaise, chili peppers, green onions, relish and onion powder. Season with hot sauce, salt and pepper. Transfer to a bowl.
Serve with raw vegetables.
CRANBERRY, ROSE AND LIME SPRITZER
I like to make a drink pitcher, like this spritzer, so guests can easily help themselves. Set up a self-serve bar with wine and beer on ice.
Ingredients1 (750 ml) bottle of rosé 1 cup no sugar added cranberry juice Juice of 1 lime 1/4 cup agave nectar 2 cups seltzer water Sliced limes, for garnish
InstructionsIn a pitcher, combine the rosé, cranberry juice, lime juice and agave. Stir until the agave dissolves. Add seltzer water. Serve over ice, garnished with lime.
