Even though men commented on her posts using the famous term, she was unaware of the larger force behind the trend.
She added, “Gym Shark made a muscle mom t-shirt, yeah, and I was at the event, and even you know, the girls talking on the intercom or whatever, they’d be like, ‘Okay, muscle mom said, let’s keep pushing.”, and… I’ve never heard that, I haven’t heard women addressing women as muscle moms. Saffari was surprised that gym slang had gained prominence in such a short time. The relatively new workout phenomenon recognizes the efforts of women who balance fitness and other commitments.
