Most adults regularly discuss nutrition, which is an extremely broad topic. This topic of conversation usually arises among those who like to maintain their fitness and prefer to keep track of the food they consume.
The second group of people are those who have experienced or are experiencing a health problem or have discovered a specific illness. Taking care of the food you eat works best when you start making healthy, nutritious decisions early on, rather than waiting until a serious problem arises.
KNOWLEDGE OF NUTRITION AT YOUNG AGE
Values related to health and nutrition can be integrated from an early age, as changing thinking and habits can be easily modified from a young age. Young people’s knowledge of nutrition can be integrated into school. This makes children realize the importance of good nutrition, healthy eating habits and develop their own healthy habits from a young age.
Schools can consider a credible nutrition education structure that could go a long way in giving students the foundation and resources they need to stay healthy.
NUTRITIONAL EDUCATION
In the era of pandemics and viral diseases that surround us, nutrition education can help improve the health of children and families as a whole through better nutrition. We are seeing a dramatic increase in obesity, diabetes, and many other lifestyle challenges we face today.
Numerous studies have shown that children’s immune systems are less effective than adults’. Children may be more likely to get an infection and may need more time to recover. This makes it all the more important to examine the situation and address it strategically.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Nutrition education should become an essential part of education, with daily health practices that should pave the way for discussions, activities and increased knowledge of nutrition, like what we have in some Western countries that do it very well.
These will also help students learn crucial skills, helping them maintain better health throughout their lives. Not just in school, but this same practice should be followed at home for it to work more effectively.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the importance of eating healthily from a young age can help protect against complications that may arise later in life. Vitamin D and iron deficiency in healthy children is a very common problem.
Practicing nutritional education among children will help them better understand their relationship with food and health. It has become a necessity of the moment: to examine all the diseases that appear in recent times. Immunity has become crucial.
