CHICO — The first Coffee Connection of the spring semester for Chico State University’s Interdisciplinary Center on Aging will take place from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in Room 207 of Kendall Hall.
The topic will be “An Ounce of Prevention: How Medicare Keeps You Healthy.” Speakers include Tatiana Fassieux, health insurance counseling and advocacy program manager at Passages Adult Resource Center; and Dr. Baran Onder of Argyll Medical Group.
The conference will help attendees understand the importance of preventative care, how it is covered by Medicare, who is eligible and where to get information. Pre-registration is not necessary.
