Veriheal, the leading cannabis health technology company, announced the three winners of its annual Innovation in Competition Cannabis stock market for 2023each of which will receive $10,000 to put towards tuition and university fees
With over 800 submissions, a record, Veriheal demonstrates an increased commitment to supporting the education and innovation of future leaders and innovators in the cannabis community. Since 2020, Veriheal has awarded $85,000 in scholarships to students seeking to change the course of the cannabis industry.
Veriheal recognizes the increasing costs of higher education and, in response, has expanded its commitment to providing financial assistance to students passionate about cannabis. In 2023, the company is awarding a total of $30,000 in scholarships, with each of the three winners receiving $10,000 to help with their studies.
After carefully reviewing the applications, which closed on July 30, Veriheal selected the following recipients:
- Quemarr Moatamedi – University of Montana
- Maya Woods Arthur – Harvard University
- Jensyn Huynh – Texas A&M University
Applicants were required to submit a forward-thinking essay of at least 1,000 words on how to improve the cannabis industry, demonstrating creativity, sustainability, and a vision for the future. This year’s winners stood out for their exceptional combination of knowledge and passion for sustainability, community, awareness and innovation in the cannabis space.
