For over 15 years, Nutrition.gov has made it easy for consumers to access reliable information on food, healthy eating, food safety and physical activity. The Nutrition.gov team is excited to announce the launch of a newly designed and improved website. Nutrition.gov will now feature a modernized, mobile-friendly design, improved functionality, better navigation and easier access to content that can help users make healthy food choices. The website is also organized by audience type as well as nutrition topic for easier navigation.
Visitors can now access Nutrition.gov’s most popular content and resources directly from the home page. The Popular Pages section of the site will be updated regularly and is user-driven, highlighting the most viewed pages. New The subjects This page provides an overview of the site’s content, making it easy to find information on topics such as diet and health conditions, strategies for successful weight loss, and printable materials for classrooms and health fairs.
Users searching for nutritional information in Spanish can now switch between English and Spanish with a single click using the toggle feature located in the upper right section of the webpage. The site has also been updated with subject headings that are more relevant to the consuming public. For example, what was Smart Nutrition 101 now has the right Basic nutrition.
