History of World Food Safety Day
According to experts, World Food Safety Day was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2018 through a resolution. It was first proposed by the Kingdom of the Netherlands, then supported by a total of 44 countries, and finally the official date was announced as June 7 each year. (Image: istock)
